Albany, Georgia-Prior to the start of the 2023 Cricket SIAC Baseball Championship, the conference announced their All-Conference Team. Edward Waters infielder Hugo Schoening was named a Second Team All-Conference selection.

 The Orange Park, Florida native bounced back in a big way from an injury riddled true freshman campaign last season, finishing third on the team in batting average at .328 in 43 games played. Schoening led the team in hits with 52, scored 28 runs, drove in 39, and had one homerun in 2023.
