Atlanta, GA., -- The SIAC revealed their 2025 Postseason Baseball All-Conference Selections and Edward Waters was well represented.

Head Coach Reginald Johnson, II earned 2025 SIAC Baseball Coach of the Year honors after leading the Tigers to a 34-16 overall record with a 25-8 mark in conference action. EWU finished the regular season as the No. 2 seed in the 2025 SIAC Baseball Championships. The Tigers were winners in nine of the 11 conference series' this season.

Senior Torry Jones was honored as SIAC Player of the Year as well as being named to the All-SIAC First-Team as a designated hitter. The St. Petersburg, FL native, finished the season with a .354 batting average after appearing in all 50 games. Jones compiled 68 hits, 56 runs scored, 58 RBI, 10 home runs in 196 at-bats. Jones also drew 35 walks and was twice named SIAC Baseball Player of the Week.

Senior pitcher Alexander Davila was named to the All-SIAC First-Team as a starting pitcher. The Orlando, FL native amassed a 4.57 ERA with 11 wins. Davila faced 261 batters, hurled 45 strikeouts through 69.0 innings, tossed while holding opponents to .257 batting average.

Dave Mitchum, senior utility players was voted to the All-SIAC Second-Team. The Gainesville, FL native finished the regular season batting .297 to go along with 34 hits, 36 runs scored and 34 RBI through 155 at-bats. Mitchum led the SIAC with 49 stolen bases to go along with 14 doubles and three home runs.

The Tigers will open play in the 2025 SIAC Baseball Championships with a matchup against No. 7 seeded Tuskegee.
