Jacksonville, FL – Head Coach Eric Jackson, Jr. and the Edward Waters women's basketball team have announced their 2024-25 season schedule. The Lady Tigers will compete in a competitive non-conference and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) schedule the will see them travel to six different states this season.
Edward Waters will open the season with Exhibition matches against UCF and JU to start the season. EWU will then travel to Charlotte, North Carolina to take on Johnson C. Smith and Elizabeth City State in the SIAC/CIAA Challenge, November 9 & 10.
The Lady Tigers will then host Beacon College for their home opener as well as "Make It A Kid's Day" game inside Adams-Jenkins Sports Complex on November 12. The very next day, November 13, Edward Waters will square off against nearby Stetson University.
EWU will then travel north to USC-Beaufort for their final non-conference road game of the season.
Edward Waters will open SIAC play with road trips to Ohio to face Central State on November 30 and to Frankfort, Kentucky to play Kentucky State on December 2, The Lady Tigers will host Lane College for their SIAC home opener on December 14 before wrapping with weekend with a game against LeMoyne-Owen on December 16.
The Lady Tigers will then travel to Alabama for conference games against Miles College on December 19 and Spring Hill College on December 21 to conclude the calendar year.
Edward Waters will begin 2025 with a SIAC home matchup with the visiting Tuskegee Golden Tigers on January 6. The Lady Tigers will then face play their final non-conference contest of the season with a home matchup against Erskine College on January 7. EWU will then hit the road for road meetings against Fort Valley on January 11 and Albany State on January 13. The Lady Tigers will then welcome in Clark Atlanta to the Adams-Jenkins Sports Complex for a January 20 for home contest.
EWU will then have a three-game road slate against Benedict on January 25 and Allen on January 27 before facing Savannah State on Feb. 4. The Tigers will turn around and matchup with Allen and Benedict on February 8 and February 10, but this time in Jacksonville inside Adams-Jenkins.
The Tigers will then travel to Atlanta for their final road trip of the regular season where they will visit Clark Atlanta on February 15. EWU will then conclude the regular season with three straight home contests against Savannah State on February 22, Albany State on February 24 and Fort Valley State on February 26, which will also be senior night.
The SIAC conference championships are set to take place March 1 through March 8.
