Jacksonville, FL – Head Coach
Cabral Huff and the Edward Waters men's basketball team have announced their 2024-25 season schedule. The Tigers will have a fair amount of game on the road this season as they will travel to five different states for both non-conference and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) action.
After opening the season with Exhibition contests against FSCJ and USF to start the season, EWU will travel to Winter Park to take on Florida Tech and Rollins in the NCAA D2 South Regional Exempt Classic, November 8 & 9.
The Tigers will then host Voorhees College for their home opener inside Adams-Jenkins Sports Complex on November 13. Later that weekend Edward Waters will travel north to Morrow, Georgia for the Clayton State Classic where they will face host school Clayton State on November 15 and Columbus State on November 16.
Edward Waters will face UNF for a local friendly match on November 21 before concluding the non-conference schedule with a road game against USC-Beaufort on November 23 and a home meeting against Flager College inside Adams-Jenkins.
EWU will open SIAC play with road visits to Ohio to face Central State on November 30 and to Frankfort, Kentucky to play Kentucky State on December 2, The Tigers will host Lane College for their SIAC home opener on December 14 before wrapping with weekend with a game against LeMoyne-Owen on December 16.
The Tigers will then travel to Alabama for conference games against Miles College on December 19 and Spring Hill College on December 21 to conclude the calendar year.
Edward Waters will begin 2025 with a SIAC home matchup with the visiting Tuskegee Golden Tigers on January 6. The Tigers will then face four consecutive teams from the state of Georgia. Two road meetings against Fort Valley on January 11 and Albany State on January 13. The Tigers will then welcome in Morehouse and Clark Atlanta to the Adams-Jenkins Sports Complex to January 18 and January 20 for home contests.
EWU will then have a three-game road slate against Benedict on January 25 and Allen on January 27 before facing Savannah State on Feb. 4. The Tigers will turn around and matchup with Allen and Benedict on February 8 and February 10, but this time in Jacksonville inside Adams-Jenkins.
The Tigers will then travel to Atlanta for their final road trip of the regular season where they will visit Clark Atlanta on February 15 and Morehouse on February 17. EWU will then conclude the regular season with three straight home contests against Savannah State on February 22, Albany State on February 24 and Fort Valley State on February 26, which will also be senior night.
