Tallahassee, Florida-The EWU Women's Cross Country squad officially lifted the lid on their 2023 campaign Friday afternoon in the State Capital as they took part in the TCC Invitational, hosted by Tallahassee Community College. Edward Waters finished a respectable third place in the Women's 5K event, posting 89 total points.
Damari Johnson led the way for the Purple & Orange, finishing in 18th place in a time of 27:39.00.
Abnelle Jean Louis crossed the finish line in 21st place at 28:30.00, followed by
Sammya Brown in 23rd (28:45.00),
Valerie Brown in 24th (29:46.00),
Tranasia Missick in 25th (30:21.00), Di-Raphaelle Nelson in 26th (30:30.00), and
Briana Morris rounding out the EWU contingent in 27th place (32:51.00).
Edward Waters will next Saturday morning, September 16th in Daytona Beach at the Embry-Riddle Cross Country Classic.
