JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Edward Waters University women's cross country standout Alaysa Chipunov continues to make her mark on the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), earning SIAC Women's Runner of the Week honors for the third time this season following another impressive performance at the Ed Holloway Classic.
Chipunov continued her outstanding 2026 campaign by leading the Lady Tigers at the Ed Holloway Classic, hosted by Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida.
Competing in the women's 6-kilometer race, Chipunov crossed the finish line in 25:20.0 to place 31st overall, recording the fastest time among all Edward Waters runners in the event.
Her performance marked another strong showing for the Lady Tigers' standout distance runner, who has consistently set the pace for Edward Waters throughout the fall season.
