Jaelen Nelson was selected as SIAC Men's Basketball Newcomer of the Week.
He continued his strong play, helping the Tigers go 1-1 last week. Nelson recorded 19 points, three rebounds and five 3-pointers in a win over Benedict before contributing 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting, including three 3-pointers, in a loss to Clark Atlanta.
