In just first season as head coach of the women's squad and second year as head coach over the men's program, Coach Ford led her teams to a combined 34-22 overall mark. Her teams compiled a 25-4 in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) action including a 10-3 showing inside the Adam-Jenkins Complex.
The Lady Tigers volleyball team captured their second straight SIAC East Division title as well as their second consecutive runner-up finish in the conference tournament in 2023.
"I'm just grateful for the opportunity to continue doing what I love", said Ford. "For me it's all about passing the knowledge of the game to the generations that follow. It's all about growing the game and I'm thank that I can do that here at Edward Waters."
The Edward Waters women's volleyball team will kick off the 2024 season at the Barry University Invitational, where they will face Virginia State University.
