Lawrenceville, Georgia-Three members of the Edward Waters Softball squad will have an opportunity to make more history at the conclusion of the season. Junior pitcher Jodasea Peterson, sophomore utility player Kylah Gardner, and senior first baseman Tiara Peters have been selected to appear at the inaugural Minority Softball Prospects HBCU Softball Game, which will be played on Friday, June 2nd at 7:00pm at the Grizzly Softball Complex on the campus of Georgia Gwinnett College.

A Second Team All-SIAC selection, Jojo Peterson leads Edward Waters with 98 strikeouts in 94.0 innings of work. The Jacksonville native has a team leading 2.05 ERA, an 11-4 record in the circle, and 2 saves on the 2023 season.

Fellow Second Team All-SIAC selection Kylah Gardner earned her spot as an HBCU All-Star thanks to her team leading .430 batting average with 40 hits, 28 RBI's and six homeruns.

Tiara Peters had a memorable close to her collegiate career this season. The Orange Park native has a .371 batting average in 124 at  bats with 46 hits, 29 RBI's, and one homerun.
