JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The future is bright for Edward Waters University Softball. Head Coach Mike Ellsion and his staff have officially announced the signing of 10 dynamic student-athletes for the 2025-26 season, marking another major step forward for a program that continues to build momentum in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC).
The class features a strong mix of high school standouts, junior college transfers, and seasoned collegiate talent, each bringing their own brand of athleticism, versatility, and competitive fire to Jacksonville.
"We're extremely excited about this group," said Coach Ellison. "Each of these student-athletes brings something different—whether it's power, speed, leadership, or grit—and they all share a hunger to compete. We truly believe this class will elevate our program and help us continue to chase championships."
2025-26 Edward Waters Softball Signing Class
Ashley Corazzini – Junior – Middle Infielder
Hometown: Winter Springs, FL | Previous School: Eastern Florida State College
A smooth and consistent defender up the middle, Corazzini brings collegiate experience and a steady bat to the Tigers' infield.
"Ashley is a leader and competitor who plays the game with confidence. She'll bring poise and production to our middle infield." – Coach Ellison
Ava Martyn – Freshman – Outfield/Utility
Hometown: Yulee, FL | Previous School: Yulee High School
Ava's athleticism and versatility make her a valuable asset in the outfield and anywhere else on the diamond.
"Ava is an all-around athlete who can play multiple positions. Her energy and effort will make her a great fit in our program." – Coach Ellison
Carsen Chmiel – Freshman – Pitcher/Middle Infielder
Hometown: Fernandina Beach, FL | Previous School: Fernandina Beach High School
Carsen brings a strong arm in the circle and steady glove up the middle, making her a dual-threat addition.
"Carsen is a competitor who's not afraid of big moments. She has the tools to contribute both on the mound and in the field." – Coach Ellison
Chloe Dollar – Freshman – Outfielder
Hometown: Cincinnati, OH | Previous School: Walnut Hills High School
Chloe brings speed and outfield coverage from the Buckeye State, with strong instincts and a developing offensive game.
"Chloe plays with intensity and covers ground in the outfield. She brings a northern toughness that will fit right in." – Coach Ellison
Dominique Snodey – Junior – Pitcher/First Base
Hometown: Jacksonville, FL | Previous School: Voorhees University
Returning to her hometown, Snodey adds power at the plate and depth in the circle with valuable collegiate experience.
"Dominique is a powerful presence—both as a hitter and pitcher. Having a seasoned local talent join the team is a huge boost." – Coach Ellison
Jaela Palmer – Freshman – Catcher/Third Base
Hometown: Jacksonville, FL | Previous School: Paxon School for Advanced Studies
A versatile defender behind the plate and at the hot corner, Palmer brings strong academic and athletic credentials.
"Jaela is sharp, coachable, and ready to work. Her ability to handle a pitching staff and play multiple spots makes her a key piece." – Coach Ellison
Jahliyah Robinson – Junior – Outfielder
Hometown: Jacksonville, FL | Previous School: St. Petersburg College
A speedster and strong defender, Robinson brings experience, hustle, and a solid left-handed bat to the outfield.
"Jahliyah plays with heart and passion. She'll bring maturity and depth to our outfield unit." – Coach Ellison
Kyleigh Golden – Freshman – Pitcher/Middle Infielder
Hometown: Yulee, FL | Previous School: Yulee High School
Golden is a rising star with two-way talent, capable of changing the game in the circle and as a tough out at the plate.

Macie Bourgholtzer – Junior – Catcher/Utility
Hometown: Jacksonville, FL | Previous School: Lake Sumter State College
A reliable backstop with a high softball IQ, Bourgholtzer brings toughness, experience, and a versatile glove.
"Macie is a gritty competitor with strong leadership qualities. She's someone our younger players will look up to." – Coach Ellison
Rossalia Iglesias-Lopez – Freshman – Third Base/Shortstop
Hometown: Decatur, GA | Previous School: Decatur High School
A dynamic infielder with soft hands and a quick bat, Iglesias-Lopez adds strong defensive tools and high ceiling.
"Rossalia has great instincts and a passion for the game. She's going to bring spark and consistency to our infield." – Coach Ellison
