Albany, Georgia-Prior to the start of the Cricket SIAC Softball Championship, the conference announced their 2023 All-Conference Selections. Three members of the SIAC East Division Champion, Edward Waters Lady Tigers were selected to this season's teams, led by sophomore outfielder Kylah Gardner who received First Team honors. Junior pitcher Jodasea Peterson and sophomore pitcher Alyssa Charter-Smith were named to the conference's Second Team.

For the Louisville, Georgia native in Kylah Gardner, it is her second All-Conference selection in her career as last season, she received All-Continental Athletic Conference honors in EWU's final season competing as an NAIA member. In 31 games played and 94 plate appearances, Gardner had a .414 batting average with 36 hits, 24 RBI's, and a team leading six homeruns. Defensively, Gardner had a solid season as well with a .947 fielding percentage.

A junior college transfer, Jodasea Peterson has had an extremely memorable first season at her hometown HBCU, leading the way with a 1.17 ERA inn 113.0 innings pitched. Peterson has a 16-4 record this season in the circle and has one save to her credit as well. She has allowed just 20 walks, while striking out a team leading 98 batters.

A native of West Wallsend, New South Wales, Australia, Alyssa Charter-Smith is second on the Lady Tiger squad with a 1.27 ERA in 66.0 innings of work, has an 8-1 record with two saves, 21 walks, and 91 strikeouts.
