Myles Hosten Takes Home SIAC Freshman of the Year and Earns Spot of All-Freshman Team

Atlanta, GA., -- The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) unveiled its 2024-25 men's basketball All-Conference team members and award winners. Edward Waters freshman forward Myles Hosten was named SIAC Men's Freshman of the Year as well as earning a spot on the SIAC All-Freshman team.

The forward from London, U.K. played his high school ball locally at Impact Christian Academy and started in 23 of the 24 games he played in.

Hosten played a huge role for the Tigers averaging 8.6 points per game to go with 4.8 rebounds per contest, second best on the team. The freshman also made his presence felt on the defensive side of the ball racking up 21 blocks, tenth best in the league.
In SIAC action, Hosten raised his numbers to 9.3 points and 5.5 rebound, which led the Tigers. For the season, Myles racked up two double-doubles and scored a career-high 22 points in a win over Fort Valley State.

Hosten and the Edward Waters Tigers men's basketball look to build upon its great season as they will return to the majority team for the 2025-26 season.
