Atlanta, GA., -- The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) unveiled their weekly Players of the Week and junior outside hitter Richard Hendricks was named SIAC Men's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.

Hendricks played impressively last week, helping guide the Edward Waters Men's Volleyball team to a 2-1 record on the week highlighted by back-to-back victories over SIAC for Benedict.

The junior from Kingston, Jamaica re-wrote the school record books collecting 28 kills in an exciting 3-2 comeback road victory over Benedict.

For the week, Hendricks amassed 56 total kills, 31 digs and four aces through three games. He currently leads the conference with 187 kills and 96 digs on the season.

Richard and the Edward Waters Men's Volleyball Team will be back on the court this weekend with a SIAC road doubleheader against Morehouse on Saturday, March 15 inside Forbes Arena. The first game is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM.
