Jacksonville, FL., -- During last Monday's home basketball contest Benedict College, Edward Waters Vice President & Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, Dr. Ivana Rich recognized 231 student-athletes for their success in the classroom as members of the Fall 2024 Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

In order to have qualified for the AD's Honor Roll, student-athletes must complete at least 12 credit hours and achieve a 3.0 grade point average or above during the fall semester of 2023.

During the fall semester, 89 student-athletes had a GPA of 3.5 or higher, while 34 student-athletes sported a GPA of 4.0 or higher.

The Edward Waters women's tennis squad led the way with the highest team GPA of all programs with a 3.98.
