Tacarigua, Trinidad & Tobago-Edward Waters sophomore women's tennis player
Aalisha Alexis has earned a spot on the Trinidad & Tobago team for the 2024 Billie Jean King Cup. Alexis earned her spot on the squad without dropping a set to her opponent during her qualifying match on Sunday at the National Racquet Centre in Tacarigua.
For Alexis, this is not her first time representing her home country as she has previously represented T&T at the World Junior Tennis Championship in 2017 & 2018, the JITIC Tennis Tournament in 2018, the ITF Junior Fed Cup in 2019, and the 2021 Billie Jean King Cup.
Trinidad & Tobago will next participate in Americas Zone Division III Group Qualifying, where her squad will face off against other Caribbean countries to officially earn a spot at the 61st edition of the Billie Jean King Cup which will take place in Spain in November.
