Jacksonville, FL., -- The Edward Waters softball team dropped both ends of their home doubleheader to South Regional opponent Eckerd College on Tuesday afternoon, April 8.

Eckerd was the first to get on the board in the second when Molly Scott singled, scoring one run.

Olivia Friedel singled to the left side of the infield on a full count, which helped EWU tie the game at one in the bottom of the seventh.

The Tritons flipped the game on its head in the top of the eighth, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 6-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Gracie Ciccarello that drove in two.
