This win improved their record to 15-8 overall and 11-7 in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC).

There were key performances that led the Lady Tigers to victory. Simona Henshaw had an impressive outing, contributing 12 points and 5 rebounds to the team's success. Taniah Bowers showcased her all-around game with 7 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists, nearly achieving a triple-double.
