Albany, Georgia-The road woes for the EWU women's basketball squad continued on Saturday afternoon as the Lady Tigers dropped a 67-56 decision to Albany State in the SIAC East Division opener at the Jones Brothers HPER Complex.
The Edward Waters (4-10, 2-6 SIAC) offense could not find their traction at all in the contest, shooting just 35.2% from the floor on 19-54 shooting, including a 41.2% showing from three point range. 13 of Albany State's (2-15, 2-6 SIAC) points came off of 11 Lady Tiger turnovers which proved to be critical in the contest.Â

Khadija Smith also finished her night in double figures, with 11 points and four rebounds.
