Jacksonville, Florida-The Edward Waters men's volleyball winning streak came to an end on Wednesday evening as the Tigers fell 3-1 at home to Warner University in a non-conference match at Adams-Jenkins Community Sports & Music Complex.

Edward Waters (5-2, 3-0 SIAC) rolled out to a 1-0 lead in the match after a 25-21 win in Set #1. Unfortunately for them, the good times would quickly come to an end as Warner (8-2, 5-0 TSC) won the next three sets in succession to win the match and halt the Tiger win streak at five.

Warner hit .322 in the match, recording 47 kills, while Edward Waters hit just .183 on 49 kills. Errors hindered the Tigers in the match, racking up 25. Bryan Pepen led EWU with 16 kills in the match, while Kaelen Ingram finished with 11 and Evens Edouard had 10. Joelvi Jimenez turned away three Warner shots, while Kenyon Haynes dished out 25 assists and eight digs for the Purple & Orange.

The Tigers will try their luck again on Monday, March 6th in another non-conference matchup against the Saints of Thomas More University with first serve slated for 6:00pm at the Adams-Jenkins Complex.
