Alyssha Floyd brings over five years of coaching experience across the recreational, all-star, and high school levels, along with 14 years of competitive cheerleading experience. As an athlete, she was a four-time All-Star National Champion, Summit Top-5 Finalist, NHSCC Finalist, and member of an FHSAA State Runner-Up team.
Currently, Coach Floyd serves as Head Cheer Coach at Sandalwood High School, where she led significant growth both athletically and academically. Under her leadership, the team's GPA increased, athletes progressed from beginner-level stunting to advanced skills, and multiple cheerleaders advanced to collegiate cheer programs. Her teams earned recognition as FHSAA State Semifinalists and National Qualifiers. Before her time at Sandalwood, Coach Floyd has coached in both the all-star and youth cheerleading ranks, helping athletes develop strong technical skills, confidence, and leadership qualities.
A Jacksonville native, Coach Floyd was a multi-sport athlete at Trinity Christian Academy, earning varsity letters in cheerleading, track and field, and basketball. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a concentration in Exercise Physiology from Valdosta State University.
