A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Brandon Britt comes to Jacksonville after spending four season as the head boys basketball coach at Western High School, where in his final season, he led the Warriors to a 23-5 record, the best record in school history and earned a berth in the regional tournament for the first time in 10 season. Additionally, he mentored 13 student-athletes that earned college scholarships.

Prior to his time at Western, he was the head coach of the Stamina AAU Boys 14-U Basketball Program, where his team posted a 58-4 record and were ranked the #1 AAU team in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Britt began his coaching career as an assistant at his alma mater, Indiana University Southeast for two seasons, where he helped take the Grenadiers to 31 wins during his two seasons under Hall of Fame Head Coach Wiley Brown. Coach Britt spearheaded the development of four NAIA All Americans and seven All-Conference performers, and two eventual professionals.

During my tenure as an assistant coach for the men’s basketball team at Edward Waters University, Britt has played a pivotal role in enhancing the team’s overall performance and achieving notable successes. Coach Britt is also the director of EWU Men's Basketball team's Elite Camps that have hosted a plethora of talent. One of his key accomplishments was implementing a comprehensive training program that significantly improved players’ physical conditioning and technical skills. Additionally, Britt spearheaded the recruitment efforts that brought in a diverse group of talented athletes. By leveraging HIS network and utilizing advanced scouting techniques, Coach Britt was able to identify and secure commitments from high-potential recruits, contributing to the team’s competitive edge.

Britt also was a two-sport student-athlete, starting his playing career at NAIA Campbellsville University where he was a member of the Tigers' football team, before transferring to IU Southeast and joining the basketball program.
