Grissom begins his fourth season on staff at EWC as the linebackers coach. A product of Jacksonville's Samuel W. Wolfson High (1985), he went on and lettered four years at the University of Central Florida from 1986-89. During that time, he played linebacker and was Team Captain in his senior year. He joined the Golden Knights staff as a Graduate Assistant from 1990-91, becoming UCF's head line coach in 1992. From 2003-2012, he helped Bolles High School as their defensive line coach and was a part of six FHSAA State Football Championships. In 2005, Grissom was selected by the National Football League to coach Team USA in the Global Junior Championship where the team faced other American Football squads from Mexico, Japan, China, Canada, and Russia. In 2016, he joined the professional ranks as he coached the Jacksonville Sharks Arena Football team where he coached the defensive line, linebackers, & fullbacks. Grissom lives in Jacksonville and has three children, Grace, Gabrielle, & Grant.
