Corey Addison is entering into his fourth season coaching overall and his first season as Safeties Coach at Edward Waters College.
Addison has spent 2 seasons (2014-2015) as defensive Coordinator and defensive backs coach at his alma mater, Andrew Jackson High School(2A), Jacksonville, FL and 1 season (2016) at Mandarin High School(8A), Jacksonville, FL as Assistant Defensive Coordinator and defensive backs coach.
He attended the University of South Carolina (2009-2011) where he appeared in 22 games as a reserve defensive back and special-team’s player. He was also a member of the 2010 SEC East Championship team, under former Head Coach Steve Spurrier.
After his stint at South Carolina, Addison attended Murray State University (2012-13), where he was team captain and started 22 games at defensive back and linebacker.
He is a 2013 graduate of Murray State University, with a degree in Exercise Science. In his spare time, he enjoys working in his field, as he is a certified personal trainer through the National Association of Sports Medicine.
A Jacksonville native, Addison is married to Johneshia M. Addison. Together they have one son, Corey Jr.
