Andrew Williams

Mr. Andrew Williams is in his first season as the head coach of the Edward Waters Cheerleeding Program. 

A native of Jacksonville, FL, Williams earned a scholarship to attend the Bethune-Cookman University. While attending B-CU, Williams was a member of the renowned Marching Wildcats while receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education K-12/ESOL. He then received his Post-Baccalaureate Degree at St.Thomas University.

In addition to his duties at EWC, Williams is also a Secondary Special Education Teacher in Duval County. Williams has served in many capacities since returning to Jacksonville. Including, the Head Auxiliary Coach at Englewood High School. Head Cheerleading Coordinator at Geraldine R. Fields Academy. Dance Instructor at Edward H. White during the 2016 Season. Cheerleading Coach and Head Junior Varsity Coach at Robert E. Lee High School 2016-2018. Former Tumbling Coach at Expressions Dance-of Jacksonville.

Williams is also the Head Varsity Coach at First Coast High School. He has UCA Coaching credentials, specializing in Stunting and Pyramid Building. He has Competed in Both Traditional and GameDay Divisions. Placing First in the Large Varsity Division.

He has been nominated for numerous Awards for his Outstanding Hard Work and dedication. Williams has also been featured as ITG Next Coach of the Week, for his remarkable work with his students athletes and community.
