Lady Tigers Rally Past Bob Jones for 3–1 Home Victory

Jacksonville, Fla. – The Edward Waters University women's soccer team delivered a strong performance under the lights Friday evening, rallying from an early deficit to claim a 3–1 victory over Bob Jones University at Nathaniel Glover Stadium.

After conceding the opening goal of the match, the Lady Tigers responded in dominant fashion, scoring three unanswered goals to secure the home win.

Ellie Seekins sparked the comeback in the 19th minute, finding the back of the net off an assist from Daniela Iduriaga to even the score. The goal marked Seekins' fifth of the season.

Just before halftime, Dahien Cabrera continued her impressive scoring form, netting her team-leading ninth goal of the year to give Edward Waters a 2–1 lead heading into the break. Cabrera's goal was once again set up by a sharp pass from Iduriaga, who tallied her second assist of the evening.

In the second half, Dadie Cherenfant put the match out of reach, converting a penalty kick in the 81st minute for her fourth goal of the season, sealing the 3–1 victory for the Lady Tigers.

With the win, Edward Waters continued to build momentum late in the season and showcased a balanced attack that featured contributions across the lineup.

The Lady Tigers return to action on Tuesday, October 28, when they travel to face Middle Georgia State University at 5:00 p.m. at Nesmith Field in Cochran, Ga.
