Jacksonville, Florida-A season high 21 turnovers proved to be the undoing for Edward Waters in their 64-57 SIAC home loss to Fort Valley State on Saturday afternoon at the Adams-Jenkins Complex.
Edward Waters (8-17, 6-12 SIAC) was their own worst enemy in the contest with critical turnovers at inoppertune times in the contest. The Lady Tigers did not have their best effort offensively either, shooting just 32% from the floor on 19-58 shooting. EWU struggled from beyond the arc as well, going just 7-for-27 from three point range.
Imani Harris was the lone Lady Tiger in double figures in the contest, scoring 14 points while also collecting eight rebounds.
The Lady Tigers will conclude the 2023-24 regular season at home on Monday, February 26th as they host Albany State.
