It was another tale of two halves for Edward Waters (3-14, 2-10 SIAC) as they were in control of the first half leading by as many as 12 points and ultimately taking a 47-42 lead at halftime. The second half was another implosion for the Tigers as they connected on just 19% of their shots. For the contest, Edward Waters shot a combined 35% on 21-60 shooting in the contest, compared to 47% on 32-68 shooting for Benedict (11-7, 9-4 SIAC).
