Advance, North Carolina-Despite outshooting Carolina University and having the better opportunities in shots on goal, Edward Waters could not get any goals scored as they fell 4-0 to the Bruins in a road match on Friday afternoon at Truist Sports Park.

The Lady Tigers recorded 13 total shots in the match with nine on goal, compared to nine for CU and eight on goal. Edward Waters gave up three goals in the first half in the 23rd, 27th, and 38th minutes respectively, then conceded one more in the 88th minute, snapping their brief, two game winning streak. 

Alyha Velazquez Diaz led all players with a match high four shots with two on goal. Rayven Norman and Ellie Shurman each recorded three shots, while Claudia Mate finished with two shots for EWU.

Edward Waters will return to the pitch on Tuesday, October 25th for a road match in South Florida against Florida National, with kickoff slated for 4:00pm
